Thank you.

So, Love gets the blame in Minny but Monty gets the blame in New Orleans.... Makes sense.

Well, since this turned into Love v Davis. I dont wanna feel left out

Money, aside, if Cleveland had their choice of Love and Davis, who do they chose? Or any of the other 28 teams.

I think all 30 GMs make the same choice...

It hasn't happened yet.

Pelicans will make the playoffs and win a series. Anthony Davis will lead us to greatness.

Kevin Love is going to eat too many Taco Bell XXL steak nachos and miss the playoffs again.

But really, Love had a nice rotation with Rubio,Pek, amd Martin and couldn't get it done.

He isn't completely incompetent on defense people. Get your heads out of your arses. He may not be as good a defensive player as an offensive player but I would rather have a player allow 10 points per game to be scored on him while putting up three times that amount while out rebounding everyone. And for the ones that keep talking about Wiggins "elite potential", I would much prefer a proven elite player over "potential".

I'm going to stop feeding your trolling after this.
Rubio is going to end up as the worst shooting PG in NBA history. And please tell me you're referring to some mythological Martin that I'm unaware of who isn't named Kevin Martin.

If you took a poll on what player a GM would want to start his team with the results would be Lebron, KD, then Davis.

Now you are just trolling.

Yep, trolling confirmed. Pek was hurt last year by the way.

That has nothing to do with anything.

The posts are about Kevin Love having no excuses, yet Anthony Davis is apparently awarded an array of excuses if the Pelicans are bad this year.

Again, you are making my point for me. What is his excuse for not making the playoffs?

one thing that hasn't been brought up in this thread... Bron is 29, turning 30 during the season with a lot of miles on his legs in the NBA. you think he wants to wait for Wiggins, who is 19, to develop?

in the NBA, an Ace and a King is more valuable than an Ace and a pair of 9s

Anthony Davis is better than Andre Drummond. And always will be. Be mad.

Love is easily a top 10 player, damn near a top 5 player, but for Cleveland, I'd keep what you have. If you take Love, yeah you'd probably make the Finals at least one if not 2 or three of the next 3 seasons, but what happens if you run into that Heat situation where you don't have the flexibility to improve?

They really don't need another shooter/scorer, especially not if Ray Allen signs.

They have Kyrie and LeBron who can drop over 20-25 a night. Waiters can get you 15-18. Miller can stretch the floor for you. Tristan Thompson is a solid double double guy down low. Bennett showed some flashes last year when he was healthy and playing. That team will have plenty of offense. What they need is defense. Wiggins by all accounts will be at least a good defender. So even if he doesn't improve one iota from now through the next 5 years, you'll still have a guy who can be your Ronnie Brewer/Thabo from a couple years back who can play 20-30 minutes of high quality defense while scoring a smidge here and there.

I'd stand pat if I were the Cavs. Go ahead and get Allen in, grab another decent big or 2 who can rebound well and clog the lane for 20-25 a night. Also get another point who can provide some high energy and quality defense off the bench. The Cavs have 11 players on the roster right now. Pick up those 4, stay healthy, and they'll at least see Chicago in the ECF.

That's if my Hornet let them.

How can I say that before the season even begins? Last year it was injuries. I can't predict why (although I am confident they will make a berth) they will miss the playoffs.

Why did Andre Drummond lead the Pistons to 29 wins in the east?

Kevin Love is a 5 seed in the east with Drummond's roster

Late to the thread but Cleveland is not asking him to lead their team, they have a guy. And Love is really good, or do you think it is better to roll with Tristen Thompson?
