He can come to knoxville if he wants a chance at D-1 ball. This little lie is nothing compared to some good ole plunger cousin rapers we've allowed in the past. And we can use the warm body, beings we've missed out on every recruit possible.

I actually felt bad for this kid. His lie had no escape, he had to look like a complete loser. Glad he is at least playing past high school.
Looks like last year was a medical redshirt. The year before he actually won some honors.

I've never heard of this till now.
Just found his video on YouTube and noticed an entire gym full of people waiting to hear his announcement. Was he lying to these people for months while acting like he was on official visits and whatnot?
Eta: and was there a specific reason he lied(ie, attention whore, trolling people for fun, or just felt the pressure to act like he was being recruited by higher powers than he was?)

Yes, in the end it was a big lie. If I remember, it was kind of like the Manti story in that he was getting looks in in the beginning, told a few white lies and then was in too deep to turn back (in his mind anyway). Then it all came crashing down.
