"They" didn't kill Pie O My. It was Ralph. Lol.
Cherie was actually a body builder before she started working for Chuck Simon in NY. Yes its true if you can believe that. She's actually a person of few words, kind of shy, but very demanding. My buddy was assistant to her in KY before she ran him into the ground, then he had enough. All in all, CD is one of the best trainers out there, because she puts the horse first, and has patient owners. BTW, did you know the owners of Renegade, also own the Palace Casino in Biloxi?

Could’ve done without the shrieking.

Congrats to Golden Tempo.... One of my favorite horses (Curlin) is his daddy... When I saw 40-1 I put a line thru him smh They covered up the distinct cross on his face and he has risen !!!!!

While I get the historical significance of the first woman winning the Derby, I don't think enough credit is being given to the jockey. Jose deserves more attention for his role. The horse too.

Worked him to death, like 18 hour days, 7 days a week. Couldn't get a day off. Many trainers give everyone at least 1 day off with a 1/2 day.
