Listening to the radio this morning and said that players and former players were confirming the parties with escort fees paid by the University.
Yikes is right.
Looks like this was done by a GA, if the University had no knowledge of this, which they are saying they didn't, how will this play out?

I'm still baffled they didn't pull a hotter chick. You're one of the top programs in the country and you give your guys a mid-major level stripper.

I hope this was a rogue GA and not known by the athletic department.
I guess we will see what ultimately comes out. Her appearance on TV won't mean anything to anyone outside of those watching, the facts that are uncovered in the investigation will be the only thing that matters, other than the possible black eye that comes from the accusations
With that said, if it was a GA acting independently, as seems to be the case in a lot of these kind of incidents, not athletic dept wide, but usually an individual, there should be some way to punish the offender and not punish the innocent.
However, the NCAA doesn't seem to have the ability to know the difference. I hope this turns out to be all fabricated. I don't want to see a University in my state get hammered.

OTL confirming it is pretty damning. I don't think they'd run with something this big unless they had some decent evidence other than just her accusations.
I also think the NCAA actively talking to former recruits and at least one (Lyles at OSU) who didn't end up at UofL confirming it was pretty strong evidence as well. If those guys knew they weren't involved in anything they wouldn't confirm it. They have no reason to throw UofL under the bus.
The saddest part is that she's been open about pimping out her 14 and 15 year old kids and not UofL's police (since some incidents happened on campus) nor LMPD (where some happened off campus like in the alleged incident with Blakeney) have yet to press charges.

Katina Powell is the madam, not the stripper, if that matters at all.
I think her daughters were involved, which is it's own level of disturbing.
