Trying to find the cause is not "finger pointing".

Like I've said, I have no sympathy for the family of a murderer. And if you think a man's family "had nothing to do with" his behavior and choices as an adult, then maybe it's you who's the jackass.

Awesome man, please tell us more about how his family is obviously at fault here

If he had only committed suicide, then yes, I would have sympathy for his family. But he didn't. He killed someone else too. I do feel sorry for his girlfriend's family. And the child - obviously, it did nothing to deserve the loss of its parents. The child is worthy of our thoughts and prayers.

But I don't feel sorry for Belcher or his family. I have no sympathy for the family of a murderer. Sorry.

You are a fricking retard.

I don't hate them. I don't know them. I just don't have any sympathy for them. Their child/grandchild/sibling/whatever is a murderer.

From reading numerous articles it seems as if he has a violent temper. He fisted many windows in college people are saying...

quote:

Police spokesman Darin Snapp said authorities received a call Saturday morning from a woman who said her daughter had been shot multiple times.

Upon arriving at the football facility, Snapp said that police witnessed a black male in a car with a handgun to his head talking to two Chiefs officials. That's when police heard a gunshot.

According to CBSSports.com, which cited Snapp as its source, Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and coach Romeo Crennel were outside the team's facility at the time of the shooting.

"The description matched the suspect description from that other address. We kind of knew what we were dealing with," Snapp told The Associated Press. The player was "holding a gun to his head" as he stood in front of the front doors of the practice facility.

"And there were Pioli and Crennel and another coach or employee was standing outside and appeared to be talking to him. It appeared they were talking to the suspect," Snapp said. "The suspect began to walk in the opposite direction of the coaches and the officers and that's when they heard the gunshot. It appears he took his own life."

The CBS report said Belcher thanked Pioli and Crennel before the shooting. The coach and GM told police they did not feel threatened in any way.

"We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier," the Chiefs organization said in a statement. "We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation."

Police Capt. David Lindaman told the Kansas City Star that Belcher was arguing with his 22-year-old girlfriend around 7 a.m. CT at their home Lindaman told the newspaper that Belcher shot his girlfriend multiple times less than an hour later. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Multiple reports say Belcher and his girlfriend had a 3-month-old daughter.

Belcher joined the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. He started 10 of 11 games at inside linebacker this season and posted 38 tackles. Belcher played all 16 games in each of the past three seasons.

According to FOX Sports, Chiefs players were asked to assemble at the team facility for a meeting regarding the situation.

The Chiefs are scheduled to play Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium against the Carolina Panthers. NFL officials had a short time period to decide whether the game would be played as scheduled at 1 p.m. ET.

NFL officials were monitoring the situation and had not decided whether the game would be played but told Panthers interim GM Brandon Beane to have the team travel as planned Saturday afternoon to Kansas City, according to the Charlotte Observer. The team’s charter was scheduled to leave Charlotte at 1:15 p.m. ET.

What a POS. If you are suicidal and refuse to get help then just take your own life. No need to leave an infant without either of its parents.

What a tragedy..especially for the 3 month old daughter. At least she is too young to comprehend what happened.

You're a pussy if you do this and leave an infant child without either parent. What if this kid doesn't have someone to raise him/her right? You've basically sentenced the kid to a terrible life with a possible young death. Just a sad situation for those he left behind.

According to many people in this thread, a child's family "has nothing to do with" how they turn out as adults.

Yep. I can't feel any sympathy for the guy. He is living a life that hundreds of thousands of people want to live, then decides that he should not only end it, but do it in front of people who are going to be scarred by it for a while as well as taking the life of an innocent girl and orphaning an infant. Really sad.

Yeah, obviously his parents were secretly training him to become a murderer while helping him through school and helping him pursue an athletic career. You are a tool.

Children are not always a product of their environment. Some Shitty people come from great families ad some great people come from shitty families

I really hope you both are not being serious. The parents obviously thought he was fine or they would have gotten him help. They have to deal with their son killing an innocent girl and taking his own life. I'm sure they are suffering a great deal right now.
