I would think he would have developed better. I know he has some great stats. He will make a couple of mistakes that will cost OU a couple games this ear. PLUS Steele has a hard-on for OU every year.

really. if he just ran it himself everytime inside the 5 instead of handing it to Scott or Ridley, they'd be the same identical player.

Cmon man. Pryor is much better. Not just at running but at leading.

Leading? Can you show me the stats on that? Thats subjective. What isn't are stats. They were in the same class. One was the #1 player in the nation. One wasn't. Their passing stats are fricking identical.

JJ is not a runner

he has the physical ability to be a good runner, but he doesn't have the mentality

JJ's footwork sucks. He doesn't have the instincts to be a good runner.

yeah exactly

i assume he was never used as a runner in high school, and he just doesn't have the subconscious running ability to change

physically, he could be one

don't tell our coaching staff this, though. they think he's a great runner based on how often they run him

that's fricking retarded. That's like saying Tee Martin is a better leader than Peyton Manning. Come on now... Outside of running ability, Terrelle Pryor is not really a better QB than Jordan Jefferson.

so you think he's a whole lot better than Jefferson? I don't see it. When his team needs him to make a play with his arm, he rarely does it. All anyone remembers is the Rose Bowl. Hell, Jefferson has made plays with his legs a few times, he just doesn't do it often. I don't know if its mentality or coaching, but I have a hard time believing LSU would all of a sudden be an offensive juggernaut with Pryor.

he hasn't really broken open a big game because of his running in his career yet. If anything, I think his running talent is a bit overrated and his arm a bit underrated

i think people forget, in terms of his passing, that he was a true sophomore in the OSU system

he's never going to be an elite passer, but he can get it done at the college level as he progresses

and in terms of running i don't think he's goin to break games open like vick, but his running was big in the UM and PSU games

He's much farther along as a passer than Vince was as a second year player or even his third

It seems like spread option QBs more than normal pro-style players can develop as passers very quickly. You saw it with Vince and Dixon is one offseason each. Pryor's physical passing tools are just as good as those two

because the offense itself is simple with many options to deliver the ball to

And the Scedule is like always. EASY. Miami could be a problem, as well as Iowa. Other than that OSU wins the rest.

Granted, it was last year and this is a whole new season, but Wisky did beat Miami(and completely overpowered them while doing so) last bowl season.

:ETA:
And as to an easy schedule
Miami
@Wisky
PSU
@Iowa

is considered easy now?
It may not be as tough as what some teams face this season, but GTFO if you want to call it easy.
