NOTE: I removed Brown's first season from the yards/game and TDs/game stats. He was targeted 19 times in 9 games. He was 8th on the team in targets. Those 9 games are skewing the per game stats down.

I realize that's an extreme outlier, but we're gonna let Julios worst season count and completely disregard AB's?

It's also a testament to how good Julio is that he was able to come in as a rookie and dominate like he did, racking up nearly 1,000 yards while only playing in 13 games.

As a pure WR it is Julio. Cant look at punt returns as the question is who is the better WR? Give me tall, fast and not a complete dumbass.

and has better hands than Brown.
It's interesting that the player with better hands has fewer targets and receptions but more drops over the last couple of years.

Except the question is:

If you had to pick between one of the two, who do you go with?
quote:

Give me tall, fast
Those are good traits, but Brown is fast too.

and not a complete dumbass.
Besides that facebook live thing, which was blown way out of proportion, what has Brown done?

As a Browns fan, I can attest to his skills. And while Julio is probably more physically gifted, Brown's consistency and production is greater. Results are more important than POTENTIAL results.

There's no reason to include games in the yards/game and TD/game stat when he only totaled 19 targets the entire season. You would be using a 1 target game in the yards/game and TD/game calculation. I didn't think that was an accurate representation.

That same analysis doesn't apply to Julio. I could be wrong, though.

I would take Brown on a production stand point, however he seems to have more locker room issues.

For those that say if Julio was injured, discounting injuries, I would take AJ Green over JJones.

8 months ago- these were their stats
415/6,171/45
414/6,201/34

Also Brown & JJones's QB are much better than Dalton.

Seems to be more than just that one facebook post, not saying he persona non grata in Pittsburgh (others are).
But there have been zero reports of Jones acting up, and the Falcons have had way more shite seasons than the Steelers over the past 6 years.

Steeler upset with Brown's pouting

Brown cares too much about stats

Person upset with Brown, that person is Pittsburgh

Concern in Pittsburgh that Brown cares too much of himself

yesterday (video report)

All but one of those seems to be just piling on after the overreaction to the Facebook live thing and the subsequent loss to the Patriots--almost scapegoating him.

And the article not from this past week or two is about a special teams coach being upset he got a celebration penalty which was applied to the kickoff. It's a natural reaction and a bit humorous.
