And we (the Saints) were close to restructuring Drew to bring in this overrated clown.....TYPICAL. For us he would have been another Jason David (who was pretty good as a zone CB in Indy prior to his shite performance down here)
Good thing we didn't bring in that guy who gave up 2 catches in practice!!!!

To be fair, that was a terrible throw by Luke mcown
By no means was it a "terrible" throw.

Terrible decision might've been the better phrase. Fade routes to 5'9 recievers isn't a great plan

meh, attacking the ball at its highest point (or even in the air) isn't up there on Brandin Cooks to do list.

not a bad throw, just a good play by Norman.

but I think its a safe bet he won't have as much success in Washington. Has nothing to do with getting beat at practice a few times either.

Agreed

Cooks could have played it better, but he may have thought that Norman didn't have a chance to make a play on it. And given how impressive that catch was, it would make sense in the moment that he didn't think Norman would get a hand on it.

Did we have any timeouts left?

I know it was 4th down, but there was like :10 left, even with it being on a good corner like Norman, getting a 1 on 1 shot in the endzone was probably our best shot at that juncture, I'd think.

How many corners would look good in one on ones in practice when qb has no pressure or need to read a defense
