Jose has said they grew up the same, ate the same things, took the same steroids in the same amounts, had the same workout plan, etc. Are those are the kinds of environmental influences you are talking about?

Yet when they were playing their faces still looked different.
It's not like Ozzie went vegan and Jose was eating hamburgers and now their faces look different. They've always looked a little different.

Saying identical twins should look the same is not the same as saying that identical is determined by how much they look the same.
I don't see why people aren't considering the possibility that they are fraternal. Their facial structure is different. I don't think these kind of prenatal tests existed when they were born. Have they had a DNA test? Prior to the last 30 years or so and in the developing world there have probably been plenty of fraternal twins that were just assumed to be identical

I just thought that being identical and having the same exact DNA means they will look exactly the same with the only differences being how much they weigh, their hairstyles, facial hair styles, etc.
I thought identical twins have identical faces considering they have the same DNA.
But apparently not.

I graduated HS with a group of quadruplets. Two twin boys and two twin girls. So two eggs were fertilized which is rare enough, and then both of them happened to split. Apparently only like 10 cases of this type of quadruplets in the country

Yeah and there are like 10 confirmed cases of identical twins of the opposite sex but usually the female twin suffers from physical limitations as a result of the process.

Not necessarily. Steroids and cocaine can do weird things to ones body.
