You're very wrong. Many of the topics Jordy covers now would have been no go's on OTB. You should check out the interview he did with Richard Lipsey last week for example.

Not exactly but they paired well and balanced each other out
Jordy is a good straight man but he's not really dynamic enough to fly solo. He's kind of dull and his knowledge outside of LSU football and basketball is lacking big time, all else very surface level.
Fault T Bob all you want, but he'll do deep dives into areas and try to become knowledgeable on a wider range of topics.
like some said, Jordy may be better served in a podcast format doing in depth interviews a couple times a week. A daily show might not be his strength. He's doing the old format in a medium that doesn't really lend itself to it.

A lot of people like TBob. That’s the point of having two good hosts. Some might tune in to heard Jordy, so TBob, and I’m sure some just enjoy them both equally.
No one is tuning in to hear goofy guy behind the camera, the band kid that sits silently on the sofa, or Rivers who was not comfortable at all in the role they tried her in.
Jordy is quite boring in a vacuum. His guests are good & he is a solid interviewer. There just needs to be more

I just don't think he has enough content to need a daily 2 hour show.

He wasn't fired. His contract expired, they wanted him to take a pay cut and cut out sales commissions, he declined.

He never could have done the Lipsey interview on OTB. There have been several instances like that, and lets not forget this show is only 5 weeks old and they are still figuring out what works and doesn't.
A lot of yall are commenting that clearly don't listen.

Maybe he now regrets allowing OTB to be coronavirus fear porn back in the spring. The shutdowns have hit small businesses in the pocket book. Those small businesses assuredly cut back on their radio advertisements. Eventually the bosses at Guaranty asked the radio hosts to take a pay cut. Good to know that T Bob is doing his part by taking a pay cut.

John Stefanski is another. I can't name them all off the top of my head, but lots of good content that wasn't what you could get from OTB. If you don't like it, fine. But a lot of the comments here, such as the "no podcasts" critiques obviously come from people that have no clue. People still whining about Rivers and she hasn't been on for two weeks
