Everyone called him a douche bag because he was your typical Johnny Hustle type guy. Even other Major Leaguers were pissed off at him for playing too hard.

You never heard it because you dknt watch MLB. He was brushed back and thrown at for trying too hard multiple times in his career by the unwritten rules baseball people

Am I the only one who think it's no big deal? It's good to see a couple guys showing passion this late in the season when their team is out of it instead of just phoning it in.
Papelbon was the aggressor, and pretty much tried to choke him out. Id say that is kinda fricked up. Its different had Harper came at him and he defended himself, but he instigated then tried to choke him.
Dude is a deadline acquisition, that isn't his place to get on Harper like that. Harper has been that teams only hope all season. He hustles his arse off more times than not, borderline plays too hard at times.
Judging by that picture of Pap afterward, he likely was doing it just to troll him. Dude is a legit lunatic. Like he had nothing better to do.

Bryce Harper
.339/.470/.663 41 homeruns
Jonathan Papelbon needs to stay in his fricking lane.

I did not want the Cubs to trade for Papeldouche because he could upset team chemistry, and I am really glad they did not do so after seeing this shite. Papelbon should get the Bruce Rondon treatment for the rest of the season.

"He's our closer" - Williams in the post-game presser.
Unreal.

Unreal.

Matt Williams must have been offered a job as the head scout for the Mets.

Seems like he's taken every opportunity he's had and worked his arse off. Not sure how that is entitlement

Harper busts his tail night in and night out for that under achieving piece of shite team. Sure he is brash as hell but what 22 year old wouldn't be with that crazy amount of talent? Pap with his fat arse is a joke.

An absolutely disgusting display that exemplifies why I won't allow my young son to watch Major League Baseball anymore.
