What do you expect Dana to do? Jones is probably the biggest draw in the UFC. Conor has been out for a few years so Dana had to hope Jones would fight to bring in the audience. With Conor gone and now Jones gone who's the biggest name in the UFC now?

It's not like he has anything to prove at this point.

I don't know. It's not like his other HW fights were any sort of threat.
I hate that we never got Jones and Cormier at HW.

God imagine if Jones hadn't been such a frickup outside of the cage. This isn't the first time he's fled the scene of an accident either.

Coincidentally, I just pulled up BKFC and Arlovski's about to fight.

frick those judges that took Reyes' moment away from him. Everybody knows he won rounds 1-3 and should've been the one to end Jones' undefeated streak.

Reyes will never have the legacy of tGOAT at LHW but on that night he was straight up better and everyone saw it. Just complete bullshite the way they did him.

Dana does whatever he’s told by people of jones status, he doesn’t dictate shite. Blame Dana for not having rules in place that prevent fighters from sitting idle that long

My first memory of Arlovski is him doing that stupid flying knee against Fedor.

Im not a UFC fan but the only time I ever heard Jon Jones name was when he was cheating or getting arrested. When did this clown ever even fight?

Jon fought 24 times in his UFC career.... In 17 yrs with the promotion. He was basically fighting a little over once per year on average and most of his activity occurred in his first 7-8 yrs with the UFC.

After he lost to Reyes he really started fighting about once every 2-3 yrs. He also really started ducking almost anyone who was near his size and especially younger than him unless they were a trash can like Anthony Smith, who took l him 5 rds to a decision.

And for anyone saying Jones was the biggest draw for the company behind Connor, that's not true in the slightest. Jones was a an average at best PPV draw.

You can easily name 10 fighters with better draw than him at their peak.

Connor, Rousey, Masvidal, Poatan, Nick and Nate Diaz, GSP, Chuck Liddell, Brock Lesnar, Khabib, and Spider Silva. Dustin and Gathje are also better draws.

He is absolutely a piece of shite and like Rogan says is a "bad guy just trying to do good". With that being said hes unquestionably the GOAT. Sure he had a close call against Gustaffson when he fought him without even doing a training camp, then he fought him again and took it serious and mauled him. He probably did lose to Reyes, that was when he had ran through all the big names and was just getting fricked up in his off time. He beat DC, a hall of famer, after a weekend long coke bender. If the guy is locked in hes absolutely untouchable and ran through a who's who of contenders in his younger days (rampage, rashad, shogun, vitor, chael, etc) and none of them were particularly close.

Ngannou dosent do as much for me as everybody else. Dude is almost 40 and he lost both of his boxing matches he left the UFC for, one of them being a nasty KO. The luster has worn off for me. Plus Dana has already said that bridge has been burned
