Okc 2024-2025 beat 2 50 win teams.
R1 48-34
R2 50-32
WCF: 49-33
F: 50-32
Denver opponents in their title run
Wolves: 42-40
Suns: 45-37
Lakers: 43-39
Heat: 44-38
OKC’s opponent with the worst record won 3 more games than Denver’s opponent with the best record.

Outside of him and Murray their lineup is very pedestrian and Aaron Gordon can’t stay healthy.
And Murray doesn't show up in big games, another 4-17 last night 35.7 for the series
Their roster needs to be reconstructed

Some dumbass pundits, I don't think anybody in Denver even thought that

NBA is impossible to watch as "entertainment" masquerading as a sport, so AI has to fill in the missing narrative for me:
quote:
As of February 2026, Nikola Jokic finally had his first teammate, Jamal Murray, named as an All-Star reserve, breaking a historic 10-year streak without an All-Star teammate. Prior to this, for his first 10 seasons, he was the only MVP since 1984 with zero teammates selected to an All-Star, All-NBA, or All-Defense team.

He's a great player, with flaws. The biggest issue with him right now is he is becoming Serbian Draymond with the antics. He's become rather unlikeable. He's averaging a crashout per game at this point.
LOL
Completely agree. I used to like him but after watching his games against the spurs this year it’s hard to. He is a dirty player. He tried to hurt people to draw fouls. If he doesn’t get the foul call he cries at the ref.

I think the Nuggets and Jokic chance at another ring are gone
Yeah, unless they get a new coach and revamp the lineup with better support, Jokic’s window for a second title is closed

No they didn't. They all picked OKC
Preseason odds have the thunder at 240 and Denver at 550. OKC was more than 2X as likely to win the NBA title according to the odds
The Athletic had OKC #1 going into the season. ESPN had OKC #1 going into the season.
LINK
This has OKC and Denver 2/2 in Finals predictions
TNT preseason heavily favored OKC to dominate the West
At least get your facts straight

I think you have to separate Vegas odds from the discussion. Many pundits had other teams beating OKC. There were many who picked someone else and I think its because some pundits need to create discussion and reactions. If everyone picked the same team then there is less discourse and clicks and related talk. They need to pick different teams to create content
Here’s one example from Fox

I also don’t agree with Jokic being a fraud. He’s a great player that is doing too much flopping. That Denver team has issues. I know Russ Westbrook is smiling today.
Here’s an example. I don’t agree with this analysis. Joker is a top 5 player who had a rough series. These type shows intentionally create discourse to create views and content.

He's a fraud and shows exactly why the NBA sucks.
Yes, he can score. And that all that matters to the nba. Guy couldn't guard my son

Probably won't even make a team in real life.

Of course you do if you want it to fit your narrative
OKC fans have become worse than Lakers and LeBron fans.

Just one of those series. Minnesota has their number
Posted on 5/1/26 at 11:45 am to NawlinsTiger9
Every series is about matchups. We see this time and time again. Some teams just have players who match up great against certain teams. Minny matches up well vs Denver and that doesn't mean Jokic is washed.
Looking back at SAS last reg season game that pushed them to match up vs supposedly Denver on second round, that doesn’t look so bad now.

The Denver Nuggets were the best 3-point shooting team in the regular season by far
They shot 32.1% on wide open 3s in the first round, which would have been last in the NBA by far
