He may very well be that, but his views align much more so with a typical 18-35 male sports fan, than what ESPN puts out there (outside of Russillo). He's definitely "hot take" guy, though.

He just tweeted that he thought there may be a bigger story to this, because Skipper just signed an extension last month. He also speculated that it may have to do with the Disney-Fox deal, because Murdoch's son is supposed to have some high ranking role in Disney after the deal.

This absolutely looks like a preemptive strike against something and with today's #metoo witch hunt gaining strength by the day it's not far fetched to think that's coming.
Last week the Boston Globe runs a story about sexism at ESPN and includes allegations of sexual misconduct by former/prospective female employees against two on air male personalities. ESPN responds immediately by publishing the text messages between one of the accusers and John Buccigros (sp?) casting very serious doubts as to the truthfulness of the accusers claims. Three days later the President resigns?
