John Beilein schooled Roy Williams tonight.

I saw great offense, innovative sets, a gameplan that was obviously designed to exploit the weaknesses of NC. I saw vulnerable NC players get isolated and scored upon. I saw us get the ball to the playmakers.

Didn't see much of that in our 2 football losses this year.

I get that the two sports are different and that it is infinitely easier to designed a basketball gameplan and make adjustments, but Jim Harbaugh doesn't seem to show same amount of innovation or desire as john beilein.

Yes coach B is 0-2 in the ncaa championship, but he wins big games consistently. And he does it at a clear recruiting disadvantage.

I think Beilein is one of the very best (and cleanest) in the business, but the baffling thing is that he shouldn't be recruiting at a disadvantage. Michigan itself is a really good high school hoops state, and it's right fricking next to three of the best high school hoops states in America. Never understood why Beilein couldn't consistently pull top notch talent (even with him being clean) given his record of winning and putting players in the league.

So did Billy Kennedy and he’s trash. But at least he doesn’t push that on Jimbo’s family

Beilein is a fantastic bball coach. If Michigan ever fires him they are making a big mistake

It’s because he doesn’t pay players and he goes after more coachable players. He cares about the environment of the program much more than landing top talent. That could confirm the level of corruption in recruiting exposed recently is really as high as most people expected.

He gets far in the tourney by having a disciplined, well-coached team on both ends, but when he plays against a team that has more talent and is just as well-coached (Nova last year), his teams can’t compete

Jim Harbaugh is the anti Lane Kiffin.

Kiffin, for better or worse, obsesses over just getting the football in your most explosive player's hands as often as humanly possible.

Which leads to lots of bubble screens.

Ah, just throw it out to him behind the line scrimmage, maybe he can make up that 3rd and 15.
