League executives are well aware of the public pressure Joe Burrow has been applying to the #Bengals since the season ended — and it has continued this week at Radio Row in New Orleans. Burrow has made it clear, both privately and publicly, that the team must do whatever it takes to keep its core intact. There’s frustration over key players leaving, and he wants to see Tee Higgins, Ja'Marr Chase, Trey Hendrickson, and Mike Gesicki all taken care of.

The next few months will be super interesting.

Will Joe request a trade if the Bengals don't spend this offseason?

Guess he shouldn't have taken all that money in a salary capped league.

Burrow is clearly an awesome QB but he's wrong about keeping Higgins. He doesn't need 2 top WR's to win big. That cap money would help get more wins being spent on a good OL or defensive player. Bengals should've traded him last year.

I think Chase wants the frick out of Cincy and to play in a bigger market. All his interviews about re-signing in Cincy have been met with a “meh” type attitude.

Restructuring just kicks the can down the road.

Just shows you how emotional these guys get with throw skilled players.

They could sign everyone of those guy mentioned and next off season, Joe would be right back in the media wanting more help.

Joe had the unfortunate luck of going to the cheapest team in the league.

They had all those guys this year. They have to shore up the OL and get better the back end on D. Max contracts for all those guys are going to make that next to impossible. Keep Chase at all costs, but all those other guys are expendable.

do yall realize the bengals don’t “save money” on salary?

If they spend money so Joe can have two top WRs they simply have to eat it at another position

It makes no sense to keep Higgins. One top WR is more than enough if you have a top qb

The bengals are already the 9th highest spending team going into 2025

This “will they be cheap” makes zero sense

This isn’t baseball people

Everyone has a number…. You think they will all get that number? I find it interesting when teams try to keep players together. The pats did this.

In 2024 bengals were 18th in total cash spent

In 2023 they were 12th in total cash spent

But “muh muh cheap bengals”. How does stupid shite “like they are cheap” starting a salary cap leave?

“Bengals are cheap” is a statement thrown out all the time around here. If they were so cheap why did they sign Joe to so much? And again top 10 team in salary- but they are cheap.

Now sounds like they may have a scouting talent problem or getting younger talented guys on rookie contracts.

There are several teams that do this well ( one will be in Super Bowl Sunday)

They are cheap on things like scouting and facilities. Not really when it comes to paying players.

Mike brown let the last QB to demand a trade retire for 2 years before moving an inch

Joe has 6 years left on his deal before even getting to a franchise tag, which they could do 2-3 times

Joe is smartly using the press to put pressure in the way that he can. But let’s not overreact and say that’s going to lead to him demanding a trade

Its crazy how that got started

It’s a salary cap league. In any rolling 5 year window every team will spend roughly the exact same amount on salary. Kinda how a salary cap works people

Spending money on another WR when you already have Chase is not a smart way to spend
