See, you're doing it again. Saying that I said he didn't produce in college?

He was productive. But he wasn't the player he is today type productive. Not even close

No red flags though. Just late bloomed

Maybe because he got better at football.

Because based on his combine numbers, he was a freak athlete even in college.

So it wasn't a lack of athleticism and strength holding him back.

It was that he wasn't as good at football as he is now. He is more skilled as a football player. Being good is about a lot more than being big and strong. Everybody at the NFL level is big and strong.

I've been saying for a couple of years that's he's on the juice, but living in Houston, I get laughed at because he's God out here. I hope he gets popped soon.

Dude juices and wouldn't be elite without it, bottom line.

Meh, then he must be on the most incredible stuff known to man. Imagine how good other decent players would be if they took the same stuff Watt does.

If steroids were the only difference, then you would think more players would be on them, no?

It was going to devolve into a steroid debate at some point. People get a hard on for accusing Watt of PED use.

Nobody has said its the only difference, how many times does that have to be said?

When you can explain his rise other then being a late bloomer, I'll attempt to explain this.
4th time now, i've already conceded there's no explanation for it.

Every time something happens in sports, we go searching for an explanation, and when we don't really know, we make one up. SOmetimes the answer actually is "I don't know", and that's the case here.

It's really hard to compare a DB to a Defensive lineman.

Or Aaron Rodgers to a DL.
i'll grant you Rodgers, but that's just a cop out on the Sherman example.

a guy like this using steroids is a guy like Barry Bonds using. a 30/30 player already with great athleticism can transform into something that isnt naturally possibly
But that's not your argument. Bonds was an HOFer turned GOAT.

You're arguing a very mediore guy turned GOAT, apples and oranges.

Most SUPER elite athletes are relatively late bloomers. And when you have the measurables of Watt, with his insane work ethic to perfect every part of his craft, you're gonna get a guy like Watt sometimes.

That said, I give it a 99% chance he's on steroids. Just like the rest of them.

So even if he is on something, that doesn't explain away why he is so much better than many others who also are on something
I've been saying that for about 7 pages now lol.

Actually never once did i say he was very mediocre

I just traced his path to where he is now. Maybe you deduced he was average from my info?

It's pretty irrelevant to the point you're arguing, not sure how you don't see that after this much debate on the subject.
