McElwain's units were explosive on offense during his time at Florida, especially through the passing game. His 2015 aerial attack became Florida's first since 2009 to throw for more than 20 touchdowns with fewer than 11 interceptions (on 405 attempts), and the team's 410 attempts in 2016 were the most by any Gator team since 2002. Six receivers recorded multiple receiving touchdowns in both of those seasons, a feat not previously accomplished since 2008.

Well, his UF offenses were "explosive" in the sense that they "blew"...

And they did remind me of explosive diarrhea.

He coached at UF for 3 years he's got to have some HS coaches in his corner

Man, I feel sorry for you if you think he's gonna be anything but the worst recruiter on your staff.

I don't expect him to be leading the charge doing the leg work but he will definitely open some doors

What would make you think he could do either? He could not recruit Florida kids to go to the University of Florida, why do you think he can recruit Florida kids to now go to cold arse Michigan?

Anybody coaches at a state school for 3 years will for sure have made some good relationships. The fact that he sucked has no bearing on that. And He's obviously way overqualified to coach WRs.
