That's just a preemptive PR action by Harbaugh to apologize so all the SJW/Participation Trophy figs don't have a field day with this. Nothing more.

Yeah... that was Chris Ash's first class. I.e. - they did not recruit poorly before he arrived. It won't get better, either: Rutgers recruits literally changed their seats to sit behind Michigan during the game.

But not to worry! The Rutgers athletic department saved ~$1.5M by not hiring a real coach and taking a shot in the dark on some unknown. So what if they have 1/4 full stadiums for the season and get booted from the Big Ten as a result of their chickenshit decision making.

They saved $1.5M!

Harbaugh is such a putz.
Either don't do it or don't apologize.

I know you like to act like you never once liked a game under Les but that kneel down was worse than scoring again and made ole miss look like bitches that year....out of every moment les fricked up that wasnt one..in fact it was epic

The mercy knee was epic. One of the best moments of 2011.

Awful take by that other guy.

Reminds of when Paterno apologized to Ohio State in 1994 when Penn State beat Ohio State 63–14.

Following this defeat, an Ohio State sportswriter dropped Penn State from #1 to #2 in the AP Poll.

But Paterno said, he had his 3rd stringers all in the 2nd half and what is he going to tell them, try not to score?

I'm sure Harbaugh had the scrubs in and just ran the ball. This isn't Steve Spurrier chucking TDs in the final minutes up 45 points in the 90's.

I don't like Harbaugh, but it isn't his fault that the Big 10 let Rutgers into the conference.

Harbaugh could've told his players to "fall down" before getting past the 1st down marker in the 2H.

For a program that has done practically nothing in football, Rutgers was really lucky to get in the Power 5

Les honestly thought he was being sporting, though. So in a way, it was another frick-up, or at least an example of him being a bit out of touch.

I really don't feel bad for Rutgers. What a garbage athletics program.
