Supposedly, the Independence Bowl told him teams were afraid of playing the triple option. Imagine!!

P5 teams wussing out this season at the thought of having to play a quality G5 in a bowl game.

And ESPN complied. Three P5 vs G5 bowl matchups this season, one of which (NY6) is forced.

South Carolina should step down from their bowl game and let Army in.

I'm confused though, aren't leftists all about equality?

If I'm the bowls I remember the opt-outers and conferences who allowed it. If I'm a bowl I tear my PAC 12 contract up. Tell them we opted out on them. Monken actually praised the SEC for sending 12 teams and wanting to play. Call these puss teams out for what they are. Next year all the bowls should refuse to take a team that could've played but decided to opt out.

I agree
But it isn’t us making the decision
This is all on the SEC

That said, unlike other pussies in the country, we played all 10 of our games with no cancelations.
And when the schools opted out and bowls needed help, we stepped in

Hell no. SC could've easily opted out with no coach and a 2-8 record. Monken and Army doesn't want that. They want one of these pussy teams that can play but refused to ct like men and play.

The SEC should have instructed South Carolina, Arkansas or Tennessee to decline their bid. Terrible.

Never happen. sEC is about their teams, as it should be. Would love to know who turned down the bid for fearing a triple option team.

Eh
It’s more money for them
You’re not going to turn down money especially in a season like this

Absolutely agree with this. Monken said it best. USC was begging for a playoff spot if they had beaten Oregon. They lost, and suddenly their "medical team" says they shouldn't travel.
