The entire country thought Linsanity was annoying outside of New York after about a week.
That isn't true. Everybody around the country was rooting for Lin to see how long he could play out of his mind.

You just have a shitty attitude.

All off-season long I didn't care that I didn't get Comcast Sportsnet Houston cause who would want to watch 65 games of that train wreck. Now I want it but it's not going to do any good Comcast doesn't service my area and Dish Network doesn't carry it and I don't expect they will.

About Lin and Harden on the Rockets:

Both grabs were risky by the Rockets Front Office. Lin was coming off Linsanity in NY and in honesty would merely be a decent player. If you were a conspiracy theorist, you'd guess the main reason they grabbed him was to ensure the 2 asian guys who watch the NBA remained Rockets fans (who only started watching b/c of Yao). Harden too was a risk because he was a bench player and choked pretty well during the finals.

Lin turned out as expected and Harden is a complete beast as a starter, that isn't where praise is deserved. Whereas the Astros were grabbing players conservatively (selling young players for over-the-prime vets) and paying for it, The Rockets Front Office has gone with a very risky new look, and so far, its paying off, and as a Houston Sports Fan, they should be praised.

I hate the Rockets, but the trolling you're doing in this thread is fricking sad.

I don't think it was all that risky. Harden can for sure play, regardless of what he did in the Finals.

Morey is a "moneyball" guy. He can put together some good teams even without a superstar.

Their next move is to go after a superstar-type player. They have the cash to do it. And when they do, the Rockets will be a force.

And Jeremy Lin with a nice night 19 and 10.

On 6/16 shooting.

Marcus Morris had a nice night, Omer Asik had a nice night on the boards but got blanked on the offensive end.

Its still the NBA, Harden has been impressive, I dont think anyone is too impressed with the Rockets although they had a couple of wild card players going into the season who seem to be playing solid (Asik and Lin), and the Harden trade going down with doubt surrounding his ability to be the #1 option and a starter (37pts, 45pts). The Rockets have really turned around the attitude going into this season that we are a doomed lottery team with enough cap space to sign 2 superstars, but no superstars will come to Houston, and its only 2 games, relax.

@IraHeatBeat

The talk in the Heat postgame locker room? That would have been LeBron James marveling at James Harden's stats, reading them aloud to Wade

I seriously thought he wouldn't be all that great as a player in a more central role away from Westbrook and Durant.

Through 2 games, I should probably just stop watching basketball.

I'm very impressed, esp w his decision making...seems to be always making the *right* play whether that be passing or shooting.

he has an alpha personality so I'm glad he now has an opportunity to showcase his full potential
