I guess you can't be man enough to admit that you were wrong. It's ok, not really expected from Rockets fans around here.

You really want to argue that going from a 0 to a 40 score between october 13 and november 13 is not an "explosion"? You are embarrassing yourself here bro.
That is because that is exactly the point when he joined the Rockets. The real uptick happened (and remained steady) in April of 2014.

Just look at google news results.

The terms "James Harden's defense" resulted in 2 pages of news stories from January of 2010 to April 1 of 2014.

From April 2014 to now... which is half of the length of time... there are 7 pages of news results.

2010 to April 2014:

April 2014 to now:

I'm proven right again.

You keep saying this.

Houston features the Rockets, Texans, and Astros. You have to have someone that is clutch to be clutch city.

I'll quote Boom for him.

"Down the series 3-1 and winning 3 straight is pretty clutch bro"*

* - ignoring all of the previous 2 years of bounced in the first round and having won only 1 series from 1997-2014.

a nickname that started 2 decades ago is cute, but the rockets haven't lived up to that name until last year when they made the clippers their bitch

When it hasn't been relevant for 20 years, can you blame them?

Wouldn't you call being down 3-1 and coming back and winning the series "clutch"? I sure would bro. Any guess to the last team to do that in an NBA playoff series?

Not really. NO one can be clutch all the time, when you're clutch more than most that means you are clutch and deserving of the CC name.

To further quote you, since I remember that game being in December.

"Games before the ASB don't matter bro, real contenders play their game after the ASB"

So those types of games don't matter, especially to contenders.

Oh look, Spurs went on to win it all.

You do a pretty poor job and cherry picking and choosing when to quote me. You gotta know when to apply those phrases for them to be used correctly and you just....don't.

I got an A in logics back in undergrad, I think I understand this elementary Boom Logic 101.

When talking about other teams: Use situation to make peers look stupid

When players talk about my team: That same situation cannot be used against me

I.E.

Boom about SAS pre-ASB games: LOLOL YAL HAVEN'T BEATEN A ROAD TEAM ALL YEAR

Boom about Rockets pre-ASB games: Those games don't matter, contenders show up after the ASB.

If you needed a regular season W after January 14th from 1997-2014...look no further than Clutch City to give it to you roughly 50% of the time.
