Well in year one he made the playoffs as a 23 year old and his help was asik, Lin, and parsons. Even way back then he was doing things few players in the nba could do. Playoffs in the west with that group. WOW.

Milwaukee plays in the east and had the weakest SOS of any team in the league in 5 years. Utah was #1 post all star break. And their schedule was obviously tougher than Milwaukee.

Utah's schedule was a joke down the stretch, only beating 2 playoff teams (Denver and Brooklyn). The rest of their wins were against the bottom feeders.

when you are in Milwaukee’s division and get to play the bulls and all those bum sqauds 4x then what you get is the weakest SOS that any team has had in the nba in 6 seasons. You def gotta take that into account before you call Milwaukee ‘best’ at anything.

Utah had a very easy stretch down for the last month or so of the season

I think Utah’s schedule down the stretch was still better than the cake walk that MIL got to enjoy over the course of the season.

Milwaukee played 10 playoff teams down the stretch, with back to back wins against Houston and the Clipps.

Point is, you play who you play, Bucks lead the entire league in wins, and neither them or the rockets played anyone worth a crap in the first round. Prove it round coming up.

ETA I'm pretty sure this stems from the fact that Giannis is a legit threat to Harden's MVP this year.

It’s about matchups.

Cousins gives the Rockets fits. Always has.

Look at far back Harrell and company play off Bogut and Looney. They give that space to Cousins he makes them pay as a shooter.

They close out, he still can drive and is a great passer.

If the Warriors had a similar player to Boogie on their roster it wouldn’t matter. But their other bigs are dive men and/or screeners. Not shooters, or post scorer/playmakers.

Capella gets to stay near the rim, eliminate driving lanes. Plus Boogie allows Dray to play free safety, hide Curry on a Tucker(corner specialist)

I know saying personnel issues will hurt the Warriors evokes an eye roll , but the NBA really is a matchup league.

Houston is playing too well for this not to be an issue.

The jazz are a great team. They would def give Milwaukee all they can handle. just bc CC made them look pedestrian with that lock down D doesn’t mean they aren’t a real strong squad. A lot of what they do on offense with the handoffs and screens is negated bc CC is so switch - heavy.

There is no hiding steph. If he starts on tucker James will put Chris in the corner and have tuck set the ball screen to get the switch /matchup on steph. The same thing would have happened to cousins and he was gonna be bbq chicken. They would have played him off the court. “Can’t play cousins” is what we woulda saw Kerr mumble as he shakes his head after a timeout.

Probably one of the best 2nd round matchups in a long time thanks to Hourston derping the last game of the season. Looking forward to it. Hoping GS gets their head out of their arse and closes this series out. They definitely won't be sleepwalking vs the Rockets.

Well the east is a little tougher this year so CC plays GOAT in rd 2 then they will get a break in WCF to recharge for the raptors series.

East is top heavy for sure, but the top 2 teams are no joke. ECF should be a great one.
