quote:That isnt fact at all. The video shows him walking up to the seafood counter and multiple other Publix employees. He didnt walk up to one person only and get out of there. So there is no way of knowing if he even talked to the person who told him to come. IMHO, I think the store as a whole was allowing Jameis to get free items.
Facts: He met a dude who said "yo I'll hook you up every time you come in, bro." He walked in to a Publix, grabbed crab legs from this guy he now knows, and walked out without paying.

Plausible
But he also stole butter from the dairy section...there is no way he thought that was free too-

I think the star athletes are offered so much free stuff it doesnt cross their mind as stealing personally.
Mrs. Lisa comps your chicken at whatever retardant....not stealing.
Mr. booster gives you 10,000 dollars....not stealing.
Some dude you meet tells you he works at Best Buy and you can have any electronics you want for the free....you're stealing.

You're an athlete. You bring a six pack to the counter. Cashier tells you "don't worry about it."
Stealing?
Stealing?

I feel like y'all are trolling. Facts: He met a dude who said "yo I'll hook you up every time you come in, bro." He walked in to a Publix, grabbed crab legs from this guy he now knows, and walked out without paying. Y'all are saying that Jameis Winston thought Jameis Winston had free crab legs for life? That it was legal for him to walk into this Publix and take food without paying? If he needed milk as well, would he take that shite to the check out line? "Oh sir, not those crab legs....I get those free here."
Holy shite dude. No one, literally no one is arguing that Jameis may have known they were stolen. And even then you're still "assuming" he knew
All we are saying is that there is a possibility that someone doesn't know they are receiving stolen goods. If you can't understand that then I don't know what you've been reading the last couple pages
Posted on 4/22/15 at 4:28 pm to ReauxlTide222
We're saying there's doubt. You're 100% positive that he stole them.

And this is different from getting free crab legs how?

Also- if the "hook up" story is true and the admission to guilt was a lie to protect FSU- he is a bigger d**k then original thought....protect FSU while I'm here....screw them when I leave

We're not specifically talking about Winston, more about whether someone knew or didn't know what they were getting was stolen
Winston received the food. Winston walked out.
The dude didn't steal any food. Winston did. The guy made it easy for Winston keeping Winston from having to jump the isle and grab the crab legs himself(which he would never do).

How can you be so absolutely positive about a situation in which you weren't there?
Unless there's a recording of this dude saying "hey I can steal some crab legs for you" then you have no proof that he 100% knew they were stolen. You're just assuming he did because that's what you think happened

I'm not sure what this has to do with anything though. Winston even skipped that step. But why would you walk to the counter when you're stealing something....

frick it, I'm done with this convo. If you have honestly read everything we've been saying and this is what you get out if it then I feel bad for you
