If he keeps playing this way and wins ROY they wont come down anytime soon. The time to get his cards were during the summer and pre season

And so do your expenses. Wake up. Stocks are only worth what they are BOUGHT for. If there are no buyers - you are screwed.

I totally understand the nostalgia aspect but it just seemed like whoever you spoke to 7-10 years ago would invariably say the industry is nonexistent.

I guess I’m just surprised by the unforeseen resurgence of what people wrote off as never coming back not even 6 years ago.

They do?

My homes are paid for.Inflation

Lots of factors involved in inflation and the market has minimal effect.

Where do you invest genius?

Buy it next year for less than half of that. Everybody blows their loads on the current crop of rookies every year, then they move on to the next class etc. Prices are stupid for current rookies.

Justin Jefferson rookies are way down from last year, the same will happen with this one.

Bro. You’re telling people not to buy equity in companies that make money and have money making assets and instead to buy cardboard with photos of athletes on them.

This has been posted multiple times and people continue to downvote this theory to hell and back, but professional memorabilia traders will absolutely confirm this as a huge factor.

Maybe some of their profits, sure, but it’s not like people are buying this stuff as their new main retirement plan - at least not en masse.

There will always be buyers for something that makes money. That’s the entire premise of stock ownership - if you get enough of it you own the underlying company.

I have a Burrow card that became a six figure card after the game Sunday. It shot up because of his game, but the market is definitely far from tanking.

Boomers are realizing that assisted living places are expensive.

quote:

In the past, to avoid exceeding Medicaid's income limits, some families would transfer a patient's assets into the names of other relatives, such as the children. The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 made such maneuvers much harder to manage. Now, when you apply for Medicaid, there is a five-year “lookback” at all asset transfers. If Medicaid finds money was transferred within the past five years, a penalty period is imposed, delaying the onset of Medicaid coverage.

things that count toward the limit & things that don't
quote:

Besides income, your assets will be counted toward meeting eligibility requirements. Countable assets include checking and savings account balances, CDs, stocks, and bonds
.

quote:

Your home, your car, personal belongings, or your savings for funeral expenses remain outside of countable assets.

so 100K in stock counts, but 100K in baseball cards doesn't

I have a PSA 10 Contenders Optic Gold /10. Population 1. There are two PSA 9s and one sold for $48k Sunday night after the game on Goldin Auctions. I’m going to have to hide it from my wife soon lol. It’s scary to worry about him getting injured again.
