He's 22 and spent less than two years in the minors, hes shown a little pop though.

The kid literally skipped AAA ball, so I'm willing to wait a couple of years to get some power involved.

I'm not saying he'll be Bryce Harper smacking them out left and right, but doubles power with the ability to homer? Yes please.

so his power numbers weren't good huh?

But you kinda did. Harper is considered a 5-tool kid, and you labeled this Bradley guy as one, too. Doubles dont equal power.

Harper is a phenom, and if you think I was even close to putting them in the same league, you're sadly mistaken.

Trout
Harper

Jackie Bradley Junior.

And his power numbers weren't terrible, he was averaging .473 in his time in the minors, with 60+ games at over 1.000 ops.

Potential 5 tool guys do not equal me comparing him to Bryce Harper though

He's got the potential. I love how everyone is skipping the fact I said potential. He's young, and has not seen anything close to major league pitching, so he could and probably will suck it up for a while at least this year in the majors. Most of the Red Sox fans I'm friends with think his floor is Jacoby Ellsbury, and thats why Boston is freaking out about this kid.

That could very well be. Jacoby is really good, his personality just doesn't matchup well for Boston.

Xander is the real stud in the Boston system

He's just never been a big power hitter. Nor do I think his throwing arm is there. He's prob a 3.5 tool player which is still good.

I can understand that logic. I'm biased, so I'm going to think higher of his potential than others. Fan is short for fanatic

AA

Most good players skip AAA.
