What I mean is Half the golfers were our grandparents that decided they wanted to play in That there PHA tournament this weekend. Garbage competition.

Jack played 600 events? Are those including Senior Tour? That's crazy. But speaks to money then vs. now. Jack had to earn a living. I'm sure he advertised but Palmer probably took the lion share of ads and sponsor money.

He did. But he folded in majors. His putter let him down. It's like starting over for him mentally. With regard to majors. He had a great year by any players standards but zero majors means Tiger probably gave zero shits.

On a somewhat more serious note, I saw Tiger play in a junior tournament at Eisenhower Golf Course @ the Air Force Academy in the early 1990s.
3 things were evident:
#1 Tiger had a hell of a golf game.
#2 Tiger had a X rated mouth.
#3 Earl was a first class arse hole.
