Apparently it's only 15 minutes. I thought they got an hour. It will be streamed.

Cairo Prince got in the race he needed to move forward for the Derby. I will have him and California Chrome on a ticket. Wicked Strong will factor in somewhere he was moving too lfast in his last race to ignore.

Midnight hawk out (pretty obvious when he entered Illinois derby) and Harry's Holiday in. One more defection and I can add commanding curve to my exotics.

I wish that I'd gotten a future bet in on California Chrome. Started following him at Del Mar last summer and he surprised the hell out of me by becoming a derby horse.

Honestly, if you look at that horse's form from last spring - he was running in 4.5 furlong races in April or May -he looked like an Evangeline horse. What an improvement. But if he's a super horse, I'll let him prove it to me.

My early pick is Hopportunity. Good price and that looked like close to a non-try in the Santa Anita Derby.

I'm also considering Dance with Fate. I know it was plastic-track, but he made a really nice move in the Blue Grass and is coming into his own.

I'll sell you my $100 ticket on Bobby's Kitten at 36:1. Make you a great deal on it.

Looking at Tapiture to be in all exotics. Hard to dismiss what Chrome is doing.

I know. I still have no clue how he's running as far as he is. But I still wish I'd gotten a future on him. I'm a sucker for red with lots of white.

Speaking of sprint stallions I did a little looking on Danza. Mom has thrown some distance so that may help him, but I HATE the way he moves.

I'm still really hoping commanding curve gets in. Watched the gallops stream this am and I'm still really liking him (though I wasn't sure who he was til I saw pictures later).

Poor castellano had to swear on 3 bibles to not have him closer than 3rd. He tried hard, but that horse just does not want to rate.
