frick no
Snyder is going after a proven coach and he'll never go back to the college ranks after the spurrier debacle. It's shanahan or gruden most likely.

sorry, Miles is NOT a great coach. not one bit, I don't see any indication of his coaching manner/philosophy that makes him a great coach.
not one bit.
Your right, he just wins. He did win last night. A saban coached team last night would have lost, see UAB, ULM.

I disagree here.....he somehow gets his team to respond to him and make big plays when the game is on the line........he doesn't get in their face either.........that 10-0 start to the National Championship was a thing of beauty when Miles got LSU to settle down and play football.........another fricking Gary Crowton play calling anomly..........

give me a saban coached team over a miles coached team any day of the fricking year.
Saban's team this year trumps any one of Miles's teams, period.

and if we were San Diego State, a win over La Tech would be a thing to celebrate

2 examples of saban in his "program building" phase

we need to have the archives pull up the threads where me and you fought over the Miles hire in December 2004 or whatever

see his 1st yr at those respective schools before he started rolling up recruits.

He just wins, is not a arrogant prick and puts the team first. Has the guts to kick off the best player and suffer through a terrible season bc of that and he responds with another pretty good season. I don't think he is the best coach in the world, but damn I don't understand the hate towards a good man.

yeah i don't get why rantards fail to realize the difference in situation from Saban at LSU, Saban at Bama, and Miles at LSU

Miles takes a ferrari and turns it into a chevy impala.
Posted on 11/15/09 at 9:47 pm to ATLTiger
having Josh Booty create his own audibles never hurts either

Impalas are not in the top 10.

Good point, I give you that.

he has a losing record over his last 15 fricking SEC games

after the player had 500 public run-ins with the law including pulling guns on people and talking shite about half of his own teammates. Miles is such a stand up guy.

GOOD MAN

why is he a good man?
are you saying he wouldn't lie to his school in order to get a better job?

If you don't know, then that tells me a lot.

Yes, he would lie. Coaches are forced to "lie" to his school when they go after new jobs. I don't blame Saban one bit for what he said and how he left Miami. I don't think Miles would pull a Petrino though. That was gutless.
