Ok... did you see his shot on 9... Shots like that are why Tiger is always on tv. He hasn't played competitive golf in months, and he's just 2 strokes back after day one. Give him credit where credit is due. That's amazing considering that a whole of people said he wouldn't even make the cut, and the fact that his image has been completely screwed.
Plus, they've been talking about Tom Watson and Fred Couples all day.

It's freakin' golf. He's playing the course. He's been playing golf for some time now. No telling how many times he's played Augusta in the past few weeks. It's not like he just picked up a club yesterday.

Without him, the same amount of people that always watched golf pre-Tiger would watch golf...
which is about 30% of the current audience. So, yeah. This isn't like Favre talk on ESPN where they have a choice. Golf has to do this.
