The aggressive negativity is odd. I dont smoke nor do I like sitting in smoke.

I dont understand some of the ire in the responses.

Sports town? There are many that are better....Boston, NYC, Pittsburgh, Chicago to name a few.

Better places to watch sports and big events? You might have an argument.

I think this is the point, that is what I would say makes a great overall sports town.

The point that myself and others are making is that they are not one and the same.

Someplace can be a good sports town and not a good place to watch sports and big events or the other way around.

If I was a die hard Eagles fan, I would focus on their game of the weekend and want to be in the stadium or somewhere with like minded people if not in my house. Philly is a top tier sports town.

If I am not an Eagles fan and wanted to get together with my buddies to watch as much football as possible in the best venue(s), there is a 0% chance we are rallying in Philly. We are going to Vegas. Maybe Vegas is more of a sports consumption town than sports town.

Depends on what you mean Personally I’m never found Vegas a particularly good place to watch games on TV. Good luck finding a place to sit at most sports books when I’ve been there at least. Big places like that Circa pool, service can be spotty and frankly grossly over priced especially post pandemic but I’m past the age that’s stuff is aimed out so

I mean, yeah. They were built to be a great team from the get go. Easy team to fall in line with.
