college conference? I think the SEC has produced some damn good QBs. Manning 1, Manning 2, Cutler, Campbell, Russell, are all starting QBs in the league.

West coast teams seem to produce more. I would think the weather has a lot to do with this.

I got Carson Palmer, Aaron Rodgers, and Trent Edwards. Who am I missing?

They don't play defense but they like to wing it out.
But yeah, it's a wimpy conference.

and the tendency to put all of their athletes on offense, as opposed to the south/SEC that fields defenses full of beasts that hurt the development of some QB's.
But, even the most recent west coast guys haven't been great have they?

Derek Anderson and I guess I'd count Cassel. Historically, the Pac-10 has turned out sick QBs, but it's dropped a bit recently

The MAC has produced some decent ones recently.

I was thinking the history of the league. PAC10 gave us Elway, Aikman, Plunkett, Moon
Then I though of Namath, Archie Manning, Bert Jones, and Manning sons from the SEC
ND has given Theisman and Montana (not many others)
Big 10 and Big 12 (former Big 8)??

Carson Palmer too. Oh, and J.T. O'Sullivan is a Cali guy too.

I'd count Cassell, but not Anderson since he lost his starting job to the unnamed Notre Dame kid.
But historically, I'd say the Pac-10 has produced great QBs, but the SEC has done that too.

They're the best school in terms of NFL talent, but QBs isnt their strong point.

I'd put Yelberton Abraham Tittle right there too.

Big-12 is the worst of the major conferences.
