Is Podcast Ps signing with the Sixers the worst ever?

Did the Sixers Just Make the Worst Signing Ever?
As a Clippers fan, I can admit it—the Paul George trade was a disaster. We gave up SGA and a mountain of picks for a guy who never lived up to expectations, constantly dealt with injuries, and left us with nothing but a WCF (which we do appreciate)
But somehow, the Sixers just made an even bigger mistake.
They’re paying $212M for "Podcast P," a guy who swore he was a glue guy but couldn’t even hold the Clippers together. He was supposed to be the missing piece next to Embiid (good luck with that). The podcast is already shut down along with the Sixers’ title hopes
The Clippers walked away from this mess and somehow look smarter for it.
MSBs thoughts?

The more podcasts uploaded than field goals made during his Sixers tenure is an all-time stat.

I can. They keep their pick if it’s in the top 6. Outside of that it goes to OKC I believe. The Process is back, baby!

Trying to spin this as 76ers being the dummies and not the Clippers is definitely a take.
One team lost their future and 100s of millions.
The other just lost the money

It may go down that way, but isn't yet.
And he may not be the worst signing on his own team (unless you just mean free agents and not NBA contracts in general)

Trade was a disaster, but it did basically get you Kawhi too, so you had to do it.

Don't believe this one is true.
Also I think the Embiid extension for no reason is even worse.

Anyone who thinks it was just a trade for Paul is moron
But yes it had to be done
The sixers sigbing PG is incredible and we knew he was finished

Not the worst ever since they would have been screwed anyways without him - they would have filled the salary cap with others.

The common denominator in a lot of big-time trades is a refusal of GMs to acknowledge historical injuries. The 76ers were dealing with a great center that has never been able to stay on the court. How do you put another max contract on the same team with a guy who has the same historic problems? AD just got shipped to Dallas and he has had so many soft tissue injuries and he made a little more than half of a Mavs basketball game and pulled his abdomen AGAIN.
Joel Embiid, Kawhi Leonard, Kristaps Porzingis, Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, Mitchell Robinson, Kyrie Irving, and even guys like Jimmy Butler miss about 20 games a year, every year, if not more. History says you can pay them, but it's crazy to build a team around them.

And their defense is, well the soft tissue injuries will mount for fat Luka.
You traded him for a guy who even peak health had injuries. Oh he's also OLDER
