It's not the argument that makes someone defensive. It's the attitude.

Well overall ranking makes sense PP excelled at another position his first and second year. Do you not agree?

You are the one with the attitude it appears. Only a defensive person would argue with the great Boom

The OP has evidence to back up claims.

As for trolling, don't dish it out if you can't take it (not referring to you).

My ignorance and biases

I'm not an executive or scout, so luckily I just get to enjoy watching and get to base my opinions on the little I get to see.

But Cossell, Nawrocki, Jeremiah, Kaplan, etc... put far more emphasis on what they see on film, and what they hear from coaches, than anything PFF can provide them. I'm sure they may use it to a degree, but only as confirmation of what they have already seen on tape. It's A tool, IMO. Not THE tool.

Patrick Peterson was considered at all pro for a position other than cornerback his first two seasons. Thus, using Pff overall rankings makes more sense than simply cornerback

Fair enough.

No doubt about it. And when they weigh in on a topic, I give it more credence than a PFF ranking because they study film and know what they are talking about. But in the absence of an expert's specific opinion on the topic, PFF is the best we've got as fans.

Lol link?

Because you don't like the way he smiles? Because you don't like that he's competitive and let's it show when his team sucks?

Sounds like a personal problem to me bro

Correction to an earlier post, Peterson was in fact all pro in 2011 at a different position than cornerback

a lot of CBs are year to year. That's why i laugh when teams give CBs a big deal after 1 good year. The Broncos, for instance, will end up regretting paying Chris Harris the money he just got.

Why do you disagree though? If you trust pff for their cornerback ratings, it seems disengenuous that you wouldn't accept there overall rankings

I disagree in the sense that when we're discussing PP, we're discussing him as a CB. Not as a return specialist.

I neither accepted nor rejected PFF's overall rankings.
