He has had more 20 yard games this season than 100 yd games. He is currently 24th in the league in yards per game and has 1 TD on the season. This is all while being the 3rd highest paid WR in the league. I know having the Browns OLine and Baker as a QB doesnt help but do you think he may be overrated at this point?

Overrated? No. Over-inflated and too full of himself? Absolutely.

He’s got all the talent in the world but you have to question his mentality. Doing silly stuff like wearing Halloween pumpkin themed cleats (against the Patriots of all teams) is not a great look. Sure it’s harmless and “fun” I guess, but it speaks to a lack of a business-like approach to the game imo.

OBJ is an elite WR. Freddie Kitchens is just that bad of a playcaller.

For comparison, there have been multiple threads on here asking if Julian Edelman is a HOFer.

OBJ already has more receiving yards and 13 more TDs in his career than Edelman, and Edelman had a 5 year head start to his career.

Has he had a good quarterback yet? Eli was on the decline and Baker looks pretty bad.

Baker was good last year before OBJ got to Cleveland

Freddie Kinchens is too fat to be a good play caller.

He’s not nearly as good as he thinks he is, I can tell you that much.

Only an idiot would doubt Odells talent. There is years of evidence to prove he is extremely talented. He plays for the browns, his coach is an idiot, and he has to rely on Baker to get him the ball to make a play. It really isn’t some complex answer as to why he’s struggling to produce

Odell isn't overrated. He would be amazing with a qb like brees or rodgers

Yeah, Bill Belichick decided to double-team Odell the entire game because he’s not a good WR.
