His numbers will probably get him in. He’s not someone that you automatically think of, but he will have better career numbers than a lot of WRs in the HOF.
Basically how I feel about it. He was never someone who I thought HOFer when watching him play (maybe that's because the Saints always did a good job of throttling him), but then you look at his careers numbers and I don't see how you could not vote for him. 100 career TD receptions is tied for 9th all time and he still has years in front of him. And other than Brady for a few years it's not like he's played with the best of quarterbacks. That's a hall of fame career.

He's consistently been a top 5 WR in the league.

The easiest yes in world history.

If he had to play Latt every week, he'd be out of the league.

Magic 8 ball says without a doubt. Guaranteed

Without question.

Dude has put up 1000 yards a season for 10 consecutive years
Every time this thread comes up I point to Frank Gore. Like him, nothing but 1,000 yard seasons but arguably only 1-2 as elite
They each deserve a Lifetime Achievement Award, not the Oscar

So HOF, not MVP
Checks out.

First ballot no doubter.
I think he will get in but I doubt its first ballot. Similar numbers to Andre Johnson who just got in in his 3rd year I think. Evans has more touchdowns than Johnson though, but Johnson was a 2 time all pro

Depends on your perspective. A noodle-armed game manager QB might win you more games, but that’s not ideal for a WR.
Then there’s a gunslinger like Jameis. “Nobody’s open, f—k it, I’ll throw one up for grabs towards #13” Evans is a big body, and one of his strengths is winning on contested throws.
Evans has caught a lot of passes that probably shouldn’t have been thrown or weren’t perfectly on target. That ability is one reason why he’s really good, but he needed a QB to throw them, and Jameis wasn’t afraid.

As much as it pains me to say it, yes.

I think the question should be is he a first ballot guy. 10 years, 12,000 yards, 100 TDs. Zero variation in his output, regardless of QB.
All but three of those years, he played with journeyman QBs at best, Winston, Fitzpatrick, McCown, Gabbert.
Guy should be a lock.

Ironically his 2 worst seasons in ypg came with Brady. Because he liked to spread the ball around. His TDs did go up with him.
I think people overestimate the importance of elite QBs when it comes to the numbers of the no.1 WR on the team. Bad QBs tend to target the top guy a lot but elite Qbs tend to spread it around more in comparison.
The guy above me said the same. Unless it's some 3rd string noodle arm QB, you'll get your yards at least as a no.1 target. And if that bad QB is a gunslinger like Winston and Fitzpatrick were, you might even had a pretty good year
