Well yeah. Right now his accolades line up with Boomer Esiason

Another 3-4 years will put him over 60k yards and probably in the 5-7ish range for all time TD passes, he's already at #11 right now. That'll get him in eventually - no way he's first ballot though

Look don't make me defend HoF prospects for Falcons players aight

This qb is in the hall of fame if you want to compare stats.

No he’s not. The main thing he has going for him is his one MVP season. But you shouldn’t be a hall of famer on one season

Different time period. Matt Ryan is an upper average QB in this time period

That’s why I said right now. He has to continue to put up decent numbers.

That’s stupid. You can’t compare stats for vastly different eras.

Matt Ryan has won 0 super bowls and has never set a single season passing record. Joe has done both

Let's be honest Joe Willy's defense won that Super Bowl and Matt Snell - rushed for 121 yards. Give Joe one thing though he realized that and dialed it back, no TD passes in that Super Bowl but no picks.

178 career TD passes and 222 INT's for Joe. Yes, it was a different era but look at some of Joe's peers like Len Dawson, Bart Starr and Fran Tarkington, Roger Staubach and Bob Griese...none had numbers near as horrendous.

No one got more shine off of one game in which he got out of the way and a couple of seasons of admittedly high passing yardage than Broadway Joe did.

Insert post of dude yawning here.

If he continues to compile stats like Brees, he will be in. This is a tired conversation.

I’d trust him with a football only a little more than I’d trust Jameis Winston.

Well the Falcons should be looking for their new starter already so idk if that’s a guarantee.

Rivers is absolutely HoF QB and he doesn’t have a MVP like Matt Ryan.

Ryan is a shoe in. Ask this question on any other board and it’s a no brainer yes.

Then Brees wouldn’t be getting in as Rodgers, Manning, and Brady are all better than him

1 all pro nod
Nope
Don’t care about the numbers, different game today to compare to greats of past.

Ryan’s career numbers are like 99% of Brees career numbers and he has a MVP and Brees doesn’t.

Thermal, do you know how many All-Pro nods your boy Little Breeze has?

He has 5 total all pro nods. Yes 4 are second team All Pro but he was definitely a top 2 QB in the league each one of those seasons. Ryan has not had that many elite seasons
