I don't believe that you honestly think he is a better golfer than DJ and Niemann.

Niemann was definitely worse than Gooch the last two years, but played well in Australia the last couple weeks so hopefully that’s a positive indicator for him.

This is the dumbest frickin argument & y’all should be embarrassed.

Wolff was better than Gooch in 2021 & 2022.
Gooch was better in 2023, but Wolff obviously didn’t have his a-game with off the course stuff going on.

If you want to make an nba or nfl comparison, you need to use the reigning mvp, whether you like it or not, because that is what gooch is

Gooch won the points title last year, yes, that does not make him the best golfer in LIV. Taylor Gooch is not the Patrick Mahomes of LIV golf

because Gooch just won the equivalent to the league MVP

did he? he won the season's point race. He wasn't voted as the player of the tour. Brandt Snedeker, for example, won the FedEx Cup in 2012. Not a single person on earth would say he won the equivalent of the MVP of the PGA Tour or even that he was a top 5 player on tour at the time.

Ok, Gooch was the equivalent to Hovland. How does that work? But i feel like that will rustle the LIv fans just the same

Jon Rahm finished 18th in the FedEx Cup last year and is arguably the best golfer in the world. Tour points standings are just bad metrics to use to assess a player's value

I think Gooch missing the cut in 2 of the 3 majors he played last year and finishing 34th in the other probably puts him outside that top 5 group on LIV

He finished 6th while Gooch was 11th. Isn’t this your whole argument why Gooch is sooo much better than 27th place Wolff?

Overall value, yes. But who your best player was for that particular year? It’s pretty damn solid for judging. I never said Gooch was the best player in terms of overall value. I said he was closest to 5th. But yeh in terms of last year only, he was the best on the LIV tour

And nfl or nba also doesn’t mean you are the best player in terms of value. Steve bash won mvp, Lamar won mvp, and neither would have ever have been taken first overall or said to be the best in value

Wolff in 2022 missed 7 cuts out of the 16 events he played on tour, no wins, 2 top 10s, and 5 top 25s and finished 84th in the fed ex

Gooch only missed 5 of 22 cuts, had a win, 4 top 10s, and 12 top 25s and finished 30th in the fed ex

Whatever helps you win the argument, I guess.

Y'all can go back to arguing about nfl & mlb trades

This isn’t an argument. Gooch has been a far better golfer than Wolff in both 2022 and 2023. It’s as much of a fact as saying the sky is blue

It’s not but, go for it, man. You probably said the same shite when the rumors started about Rahm going to LIV. You’ve had a tough go of it with this PGAT-LIV beef

I think we’ve got you hooked for the 2024 season.

Are you a Smash GC fan or RangeGoats?

Calloway just inked a deal for partial equity in Rahms team

Seeing reports that Jimmy Dunne and Ed Herlihy who negotiated LIV/PGA merger have not been involved since June 6th.
