I'm sure Lady GaGa has more Twitter followers than Paul McCartney, but far more people know who Paul is than some fake tranny singer is.

God, you're a moron. You assume much of those who know who Paul McCartney is are immortal.

This board has given more than enough evidence that it's posters have some mental disabilities. There should be some permabans from this thread to clear out some of the idiots. On a global scale it's a soccer player. I don't see how anyone with full mental capacity could argue this.

they count. but not as much.

i think the fact that the only game for an entire sport, which is actually played by many people who don't actually watch golf, is was named after Tiger Woods for a decade should say something.

Wrong.

Back up your statements. We have, you haven't. At least give us some sort of evidence.

You're the idiot who thinks the 2nd/third most popular soccer players in the world are the most popular athletes in the world. Are you stupid enough to believe that a guy who 75% of the world never even watches his sport is more popular the the biggest/second biggest name in the last two Olympics (which is the actual most watched sporting event in the world) and is the fastest man on the planet?

haven't you someone near you who can read? have them read the thread, and then explain what has been expounded upon in terms which even you can understand.

why?

was Jordan the most popular athlete in the world? did he play the most popular sport?

does the most popular player within a sport have to play for the most popular team?

none of these things are mutually exclusive.

Les, have you ignored the various media links that support the soccer player argument, or are you just trolling at this point?

It's obvious that soccertards have little dick syndrome. They can't handle anyone not pumping up their queer little sports or their irrelevant players. Sad really. But keep living in denial you guys.

You can't.

Now, before Cock and the gang puts words in my mouth, I'm not saying that people who don't like soccer are dumb. It's very much a niche sport here, and this is a board for Americans.

You don't like soccer? Fine. But don't act like you know everything about its stars, its TV ratings, and big it is in the world.

Usain Bolt is only on the world's stage once every four years. Messi and Ronaldo play for club and country year-round.

Now who gets more exposure?

I gave you a simple math example, heavily skewed in your favor, quite some time ago. Has your mother come home, and read it to you yet (I notice you conveniently have not replied)?
