Ronaldo also over 12,000,000.

I read somewhere where Kobe is the most popular basketball player in China by a mile. He was twice as popular when Yao was playing!

It's Kobe and not close. He's had 10 years more run, and plays for one of the most popular franchises in history. In china, he has the best selling jersey.
All the Olympic athletes said Kobe was by far the biggest celeb there.

Tiger is the closest American, but nowhere near Ronaldo. The 10,000,000 more people that follow Ronaldo say so.

You really don't think that the Ronaldo is less recognizable than Tiger Woods, do you?

Let me know when Ronaldo gets paid $500 million over 10 years just to endorse a mid-level American automaker.

maybe, maybe not. but don't think that it isn't close. tiger woods has been a global icon for over 15 years. plus he has a face and a name that people remember.

Jesus fricking christ, let this shite die. TBM was trolling big time in this thread. The only reason I entertained this the first time because I was bored.
The answer is Ronaldo.

Kobe, LeBron, and Tiger are all bigger names than some shitty soccer player. Hell some of those IndyCar guys are probably bigger names too.

It's Kobe, Tiger, or Ronaldo.
It's hard to decide who's number 1, if you base it strictly on the amound of people who knows who that person is, I would go Tiger.
