Would've been a more solid troll last year when Watt only had 10.5 sacks--Kearse had 10 in year 3. Kearse couldn't play a full season after his third year and wouldn't get 10 sacks again. Watt has 17.5 though 15 games this year--year four. And Kearse didn't have nearly as many tackles, assists, TKFLs, or pass break ups as Watt. But you got me to respond, so kudos to you.
You are missing the point.
Kearse was one his way to being the next great DE. Anything can happen. Shawne Merriman shared a similar path.
If Watt suffers a catastrophic injury or finally gets caught on a test, then the dude's GOAT status goes out the window.
The guy is great and all, but I want him to at least show the consistency that, say, a Demarcus Ware or Julius Peppers has shown throughout their careers. Not to mention, guys like Aldon Smith, Robert Quinn, Von Miller, Junior Gallette are all young, up and coming rush ends who are hungry to get to the QB. Watt has to stay on his game, yes?

Well, yeah.
Mike Trout or Kevin Durant could be done for their careers and it would affect their HOF statuses. I am acutely aware of what a catastrophic injury could do.
I think Watt at the very least has surpassed Kearse, who peaked in his rookie season.

He has surpassed kearse, sure. But it's hard to consistently put up 15+ sacks a year, obviously. There are a lot of young rushers in the league. One off year for watt and the what will people say? Quinn, Miller, Alson Smith.. Those guys aren't going anywhere. It's just premature to crown a guy so early in his career

Nobody should be crowned after just four years and Watt has set a tough standard to live up to. But the guy is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime talent. Up to the Texans to build something around him.

I think it's a lot like Gronk. If they suffered career ending injuries tomorrow, they'd be discussed in reverence but forgotten about other than trivia nights and homers.

they said yesterday he is 290lbs with 8% body fat. And people think he is clean

I was gonna say, Les has a better troll when it comes to Watt.

Gronk only needs like 2-3 fully healthy seasons to break every TE record there is so fingers crossed

That is also true. You also must consider the fact that JJ is white. In a comparison between a white and black player, the white player will get the benefit of the doubt f the resumes are close because of racial prejudices. Look at how overrated guys like Larry Bird and Steve Largent are.
This is a troll joke that im just missing right?
