He’s a pretty solid QB/Offense guy. The fact they even made the playoffs last season with that many injuries was impressive although the East was total arse. Year before they had to go on a winning streak to get in as well.

All you need to know is that there’s no chance the Eagles would have won their Super Bowl without him. So yes, he’s a great coach.
No one else would have gone for it on 4th down in the Super Bowl with the Philly Special like he did. No one else would have gone for it on 4th down while down in the Super Bowl in his own end in the 4th qtr like he did. Most coaches are way too reserved with their backup QBs but he played nothing different with Foles.
And let’s not forget, if not for a terrible drop in the divisional round the next year against the Saints, the Eagles may very well have been right back in the Super Bowl.

That’s the type of coach Jerry Jones wants. A 9-7 coach that has that one magical season.

Haha, Jerry could only dream of a coach who makes the playoffs three straight years, wins two divisional titles, and wins a Super Bowl.

Just played for a 60 yard field goal and then played for a tie.

Bad coaches don’t win the super bowl.

So by this logic he could go 0-16 for the next 10 years and you would consider him a good coach?

The question was, is he a good coach. It didn’t say anything about his entire career and hypotheticals. He’s had 1 losing season, 2 winning and 1 super bowl. As of right now he’s a good coach. Better than most.

But by your reasoning, the sole difference and reason for him being a good coach is based off the one season of him winning the Super Bowl. So any and all future data points are nullified

Basically it’s ridiculous to say you can’t be a bad coach if you won a super bowl.

You’re the one who brought up the future. I have mentioned what he’s done up to this point.

No you mentioned 1 thing he’s done in his career. Which is the issue.

Not sure why it triggered you so hard but whatever you say man. Sorry Pederson banged your wife.

Gotta give him credit on that 4th down call in the SB against the Patriots. That is one of the ballsiest things I have ever seen, and directly led to them winning.

I never even said Pederson was a bad coach man

If you’re gonna throw stuff out, be prepared to actually defend your position. Simple as that.

whomever made the decision to draft a luxury piece like hurts instead of something else to help that roster should be fired.

Doug is not the problem. It’s a mixture of two things:

1. Should have kept Foles over Wentz. The second year Wentz got hurt and Foles took over and almost beat the Saints on the road in the playoffs right after beating the Bears should have been all they had to see.

2. Frank Reich was an outstanding OC and has been sorely missed ever since.
