Dirk has been more impressive in these playoffs than Rose. Rose definitely deserved the MVP regular season award...but playoffs (insert Jim Mora voice)....we're talking about playoffs??

Dude...Roddy is hot garbage right now and I am a huge Mavs fan. Roddy getting hurt right before the playoffs was a god-send.

You can't ignore the defensive side of the ball, so no, Dirk is not the best player in the league.

Also, Kevin Durant was the scoring champ, so he wasn't the best offensive player, either....I know Dirk was better last night.

watching Durant and Dirk score at will last night was just amazing

Watching giant guys score every time down the court... it kinda reminded me of one of the first NBA games I ever watched... Celtics/Lakers in the 80s... watching freakishly big guys score nearly at will

Roddy not playing all year REALLY hurt his development. But when he finally got a chance to play and started clanking shite left and right and turning it over...it confidence went bye bye.

Inserting Stevenson in his place got the Mavs back on track.

Thanks in part to the refs.

Durant will outscore Dirk in this series.

Am I the only one that thought most of the game was boring as hell?!?

Foul after foul after foulshot after foulshot...completely destroyed much of the rhythm of the game.

There was nothing wrong w/ the refs last night

Dirk Nowitzki is the best basketball player on the planet. The sooner you accept this, the better

Dude...Durant shot 19 free throws. It's not like he wasn't getting calls either.

And of course Durant is going to outscore Dirk in the series...Mavs have a many more scoring options.

You realize Durant was only a few FTs behind Dirk right?

There are two sides of a basketball court, my friend.

Durant: 14 blocks
Dirk: 9

So...if Durant outscored Dirk and plays better D, how exactly is Dirk better?

I think Dirk has the savvy and experience right now, which is coming out in the playoffs.

But he was not the best player this year. Sorry.

Durant was driving into the lane most of the time.

They were calling fouls on the thunder for having their hands on Dirks back.

And yes that game was boring due to all the fouls being called on both sides.
