I have a buddy who sites his stat line, charity work.. and loved his football life story.
Personally I do not agree that he will be a HOFer
What say the MSB?
ranked 42th on career receiving yards list

I don't think there's any way he gets in. He's not super close either.

No. Very good receiver for a long time. Not an all-time great.

Even if he were closer statistically than he is, he has a reputation as a hot head and wore out his welcome in atleast 3 cities and the media voting on it wouldn't like that

If he gets a job with ESPN when he retires, yes.

How long will Antonio Gates have to wait be a HoF'er?
I think that may be the better question.
Marshall is not a HoF'er but Gates should be someday.

If Cris Carter, Andre Reed, and Tim Brown had such a hard time getting in, there is no way in hell Brandon Marshall is getting anywhere near the HoF. Especially since he's in a list behind at least these guys:
TO
Moss
Harrison
Wayne
Andre Johnson
Isaac Bruce
Torry Holt
Steve Smith

Do you realize just how few receivers are in the HOF?
Not even close.
Not even close.

Yes I do... which is why I was baffled my buddy thought he was a sure fire HOFer.
Andre Johnson before Calvin?? @ xenythx

I was listing guys that will be eligible soon or near the end of their careers.

Should be in as soon as he's eligible.

If Marshall is in then Colston is borderline in and I don't think he's near the HOF either

Marques Colston's numbers aren't that far off from Marshall's. That should tell you.
Both came into the league in 06
Marshall: 803 receptions, 10,171 yards, 68 TDs
Colston: 684 receptions 9439 yards, 68 TDs
Pretty big difference in receptions, but everything else is close. Marshall has obviously been the better player (5 pro bowls and one all pro season), but he doesn't have the overall numbers for the HoF or even close.
