While he is a man. He does not have very sportsmanlike qualities.

How about Federer or Nadal?

A better argument is he played on teams located in the United States.

Yea but he won all his Stanley cups, Individual Awards and broke scoring records in Canada

Why don’t you go take a gander at Bill Russell’s stats sometime.

Also, he played at a time when there were only 8 teams in the league and his team had the entire starting 5 plus a bench guy made the all-star team. That’s why he won so many titles. He had 6 hall of famers on his team in an 8-team league.

Um...first off, go check out most of those championship years....there were more than 8 teams for most of them. Secondly, to suggest that the Celtics just dominated because of talent alone with "HoFers" on the team diminishes the rest of the entire NBA during Russell's career and is frankly just asinine. Was Russell a dominate scorer?? No, he wasn't...Chamberlain clearly owns him in that regard, but that was never Russell's game. Russell dominated in blocks, which weren't counted during his career so "looking up stats" is useless, and he was supremely talented at not just blocking but blocking into the hands of on of his teammates, which was one of the main reasons the Celtics dominated on the fast break. Russell was a rebounding machine and an incredible leader for his team. To "poo poo" his legacy the way you did just reeks of ignorance about the NBA in the 60's.

World cups are not the premiere titles in soccer. The champions league is.

I wouldn't put Tiger, Messi or Federer.
1 - Gretzky
2 - Brady
3 - Jordan (was 2nd before last night)
4 - Ruth
5 - Phelps (greatest individual sportsperson ever)
6 -Ali
7 - Usain Bolt
8 - Jack Nicklaus
9 - Pele
10 - Serena

Secretariat could be on this list. 48 years later and no horse has beaten ANY of his Triple Crown times, but he's a horse, so....

I'll die on the hill that Brady/Brees/Manning are all interchangeable, about equally as good as one another
Agreed. But for 2 craptastic defensive bedshittings, and an egregious no call by the refs, Brees could be wearing four SB rings.

I'd be equally happy starting a franchise with any of the three.

Never heard of half those players just shows you how great they are. No way Wayne Gretzky is number 1 this is America you either put Brady, Jordan, or Billy Bob Thornton at number 1
