There’s a reason he washed out of the NFL so quickly.
What does that have to do with what he accomplished in college?

Man I love me some Barrett Jones but you are getting WAY ahead of your skis here. All-time?

Lineman aren’t like QBs where they can be successful in college due to scheme. He was highly decorated as an o lineman, yet he was a 4th round pick and made it 2 years in the nfl
Him winning the Remington is just pathetic

Your argument was about best ever. And the answer is no. Not even close.

Worst then that! 10 games. He played in 10 games!

Wasn't he a key member of the mulligan team in 2011? Isn't he the one that stated they needed a second chance to restore order after LSU had beaten them two years in a row with Les Miles? LOLOLOLOL

Ok and? He still only played in 10 games of the NFL. Was overrated and surrounded by much better players as a player. Not sure what any of your comment has to do with him as best player in college football history. “He stated” has nothing to do with he played. Yes a team beating another two years in a row does not mean one player is the best in history.
He was a great leader. That’s why he got recognized. If you want to make the argument for one of the best leaders making the calls for the OL and such. Sure I’ll agree with you. But best player, no.

Who did he play for, as I don’t have any idea who he is???

Academic All American as well with a 4.0 GPA

If Tommie Frazier had won the Heisman in ‘95, it would be tough to argue against him. If not for horrifying officiating in the ‘94 Orange Bowl, he would have won three consecutive national championships.
The Bobby Bowden charity award. Ironically, undefeated power conference champ West Virginia got snubbed in favor of 1 loss FSU.

Who will be in the College Football Hall of Fame within the next decade or so.

I'm not the OP. My original post in this thread merely listed out his accomplishments in college football.

To be fair, Remington himself had a lackluster NFL career. He was better than Jones but a disappointment based on the dominance he displayed at Nebraska.

Jones wasn’t even a disappointment though. He was taken in the 4th round because the nfl knew he was overrated as shite

Does anyone really think Nebraska and West Virginia were better than FSU in ‘93?
The Orange Bowl was close, but I suspect FSU had a tiny trace of complacency after beating Nebraska three times in bowl games over the previous six seasons.

That was kind of my point.
Entitled player, entitled fan base, entitled team....then goes pro and can't do shite due to what I just listed.
His entitlement mentality shined in the "restore order" comment. Without said mulligan, he, along with his team, coach, etc, would have an entirely different history. That group benefitted from brand only several times, this one being the first. He was the poster boy for all of that when he made that retarded statement.

You should have 10,000 downvotes, this is a dumbass statement

Who was the Ohio State RB with back to back Heismans - Archie Griffin?
That alone trumps all of BJ's accomplishments.
