The wall part was put in design after Ballmer went to Viejas Arena for a San Diego State game. LINK

College arenas have much better atmosphere than pro arenas so that might be a good thing.

Between the Hollywood Bowl, the new Rams stadium, Dodger Stadium (most underrated stadium in pro sports IMO) the Disney concert thing downtown and even Staples I think LA has the best stadiums in America.

Even the Forum has new life as a concert venue and the Coliseum has a nice history what with the 84 Olympics and the absolute heyday of American culture and influence

Las Vegas can push them depending on how new MLB stadium comes out

Thats just dumb since the Clippers are ahead of the Lakers in attendance record and 200 shy of the current champs

But then you’d have to have a college crowd in a pro arena…

It is actually much bigger than it looks in that pic. See the black thing on the top . That is not a curtain or wall. That is the video board. Much like SoFI stadium next door.

the side gym for high school teams. That looks like seating at the local rec that seats maybe 200 people. I don’t see how they’re fitting 700 there.
