Just got done watching the Angels and Mariners. Mariners were up 1 in the B9. Angels have a man on first with 2 outs and up comes Mike Trout. Was very surprised when they said he only had 3 career walk off hits. Only 3. In his whole career. Andre Ethier, yes Andre Ethier, had 6 in 2009 alone with 4 being home runs. By the way Trout struck out to end the game. Not very clutch, and I like Trout.

And people think he’s better than judge. Makes me laugh

People said he was better than anybody in history just a couple years ago.

He’s been in very bad teams (no chances to walk off wins if game isn’t close)
He’s often been by far their best hitter, so the few chances it is close im sure he was pitched around

Out of how many chances?

Didn’t he strike out to end the game in the world baseball classic?

I’m going to assume the # of chances is pretty low or people would have pounced all over that stat long ago

Hell, he only plays half the games each year, surprised he has that many with how crappy the Angles have been.

Struck out to the current best player in baseball

Once the HGH stuff came out about him, even after MLB squashed it, he’s been injured and more useless than usual. I wonder when his season ending injury will happen this year?

Everybody likes Mike Trout.
The truth is he's never been very clutch in big situations -- and yes to the naysayers -- he HAS been in those situations and isn't that guy to get the big hit that breaks the back of the opponent.
As a Yankee Fan, he NEVER scared me, even during his bogus "Mickey Mantle" years.
