I dont like it, especially in its current format where inter league games are being played every day of the season.

Im not sure if its that Im a traditionalist, dont think so, or I just would rather play more games with meaningful impact inside our own division and league.

What are some of your opinions?

It's run its course imo. Not going anywhere though.

like it. With the exception of a few weeks, why should a sport go months and months without its teams playing each other?

It has to happen given the balance of the leagues after the Astros move. No way to schedule without it.

I like it. Can't wait until the NL gets with the times and adds the DH, then it will be even better.

I don't watch baseball. But it still blows my mind that they play 162 games in a season and don't play every team.

"Wait Dad, the pitchers used to hit? Like, were they good at it?"

"No, most of them hit in the .100s and bunted a lot."

"Oh, that sounds really boring. I can see why they changed it!"

You're the type that gets bored at 1-0 or 2-1 games, huh?

Like. I don't see what's not to like...it would be bizarre not to play inter league. I can't imagine the Chiefs only playing AFC teams or the Thunder only playing western conference teams.

I love watching baseball. It's silly and outdated to let pitchers hit. That's my opinion. Would make for a much better product.

I didn't like the idea of the DH. I made it through 2013 and never once did I say, "Gosh I wish Erik Bedard were hitting right now instead." Once the change happens, you don't miss it.

Of course. Literally it'll take a year, maybe two, and everyone would be over it and realize that it's better for the game.

You take a huge aspect of the strategy of the game away when you added the DH. The best managers in baseball who have managed in both leagues since the DH rule have said as much.

Just because pitchers have become so specialized that they have fallen off from position players when hitting doesnt mean that the rules should change.

A lot of us like the strategy involved in batting the pitcher. Instead of just sending out your bats and taking out the pitcher when he gets tired, do I PH for him here to get the run home even though he's pitching a good game? Pitcher's spot is on deck with 2 outs and we'd like him to lead off the next inning, so pitch the 8 spot. Yes, the DH leads to more runs and more "exciting" baseball, but managing around the pitcher in the 9 spot is a big part of the game IMO.

Adding 15-20 HR per team per year would be better for the game.

You think the DH is better for the game then actually having to make difficult managerial decisions like double switches, whether to let a pitcher hit in the 7th if he's dealing, etc.
