What's the odds that the hoosiers go after pitino?

I agree with this. He's the logical choice.

He was a great coach at OSU but wonder if he still has the same energy he did early in his tenure there.

The odds are VERY low they go after Pitino.

I think Brad Stevens will be the first call but I doubt the timing works out with 1.5 months of the NBA season left to play.

Beilein is available and makes sense. The question is at 68 does he still want to do it...and does IU want a HC whom may not be there too long

Porter Moser would be the "mid-major" name, but they may not want to go that route again.

They could probably throw a boatload of money at Nate Oats or Musselman...but I don't think either would leave their current job.

i'm not sure if they will hit the mid major ranks again. i think that they learned their lesson with the last hire. i'm thinking a big name or bust.

My guess is Scott Drew. He played for Butler and coached at Valpo for 10 years. He knows Indiana. Would be a great hire for Indiana.

Hopefully but that said MW is a good guy but he is not a big time, major program HC.

Brad Stevens. He might have had his fill of the NBA.

Gonna poach Nate Oates from Alabama. Basketball is secondary there and I’d expect that Indiana is willing to offer him

I guess it’s possible but Drew is a god in Waco and he has one of his best all time recruiting classes coming in.

Drew also doesn’t have to win at Baylor to stay on.
